Goose Healed My Heart
After the passing of my beloved cat Kalli I was so lost. My husband had passed a couple of years earlier but I still had Kalli to come home to. When I would get home from work the house would be so quiet and empty. Kalli wasn’t there to greet me at the door and I would think, “ok what do I do now”. I only lasted about a month before I had to get another cat. I had decided I wanted a black and white cat this time and maybe a male cat. My niece knew I was looking for a cat and said that one of her clients had one. They had to get rid of it because it was their daughters cat and she went off to college and couldn’t take him with her. She sent me a picture. He was so cute I couldn’t pass it up. He wasn’t the black and white cat I was looking for, but I believe everything happens for a reason, so I told her I would take him. That is when Goose came into my life. Goose is such a character. He makes me laugh and has helped heal my heart. We have become very attached and have a great connection. He always wants to be where I am. The other day I was laying on the floor doing my stretches and of course he had to be right there in my face. I gave him a pet and said, “ok Goose mom has to do her stretches”. He disappeared, and a minute later I looked to see where he went and he was laying above me on the floor flat on his back with all 4 legs out. I guess he was doing stretches too.
